Reference Assurance

A boundary can look plausible on one map and still shift, distort or reverse axes in another system. Spatial assurance keeps geometry attached to its coordinate reference, units, dimensionality, transformation history, source method, accuracy context and intended use. It tests the handoff as evidence, not as permission to guide machinery or create an operational prescription.

A coordinate needs
its reference story.

The OGC GeoPackage standard illustrates a portable, self-describing geospatial container that can hold vector, raster and tabular information with declared spatial reference context. A format alone does not validate a farm geometry or its operational suitability.

Agricultural spatial records may represent legal parcels, operational fields, crop areas, management zones, guidance evidence, samples, hazards, irrigation assets or machine coverage. Their boundaries, precision and authority are different and must not be merged because they overlap visually.
